The company claims the uptime is 99.999%, that means the server will only be down for less than 6 minutes in a year! After they have been challenged for many times, they finally advertised uptime as 99.9%. Anyway, I have used this company for almost a year (foolish me paid for the whole year), I can tell you the uptime is only about 80%
The support is not 24/7 as the company claims. Basically, you will not get a reply after 12-24 hours.
The support team (actually I suspect it is not a team at all, maybe it's just a person) will NOT answer any complaints. Only emails asking trivial questions (e.g. CGI-BIN location, SENDMAIL location, etc) will be answered.
Though it says the fee you paid are fully refundable, you will never get a reply from them if you request a refund.
Look at the terms of service in this company's website, it says "Use of our services is at the customer's sole risk, we make no warranties. We reserve the right at any time to refuse or cancel service without warning or refund."
Around Nov 2002, this company has been down for most of the days. So I complained to it. Guess what? I got no reply from them so I keep on complaining. Finally...I found my account was deleted a few days afterwards. Up to this moment, I still havent got any explanation or refund from them!
Do a quick search with the keyword "WhizHost" in any search engine, you will immediately be surprised by the large number of negative comments about this company.

The speed of this host fluctuates very much, ranging from 10KBps to 70KBps. Most of the time it is about 30KBps. Of course the slow speed is partly related to the ISP the visitors use, but anyway, this host is NOT fast.
The uptime is not good. I have used this host for one month (after my account was deleted by the damn WhizHost mentioned above), but I have already experienced intermittent down time in several days. Each time the server is down for 30 minutes to 6 hours.
The control panel is not PLESK (the host website says the control panel is PLESK). Instead it is ENSIM. Personally I found ENSIM is much more difficult to use than PLESK.
The support is certainly not 24/7 which is claimed in the host website. Usually I dont get a response until I have waited for about 12 hours.
Different people in the support team know different things. When I asked when will the raw access log be rotated (because they are taking up a lot of spaces), one said weekly, one said monthly. Finally, I found both of them are wrong. The raw access log will not be rotated automatically by the server, and I am also unable to delete them manually after I have downloaded them to my harddisk. This is one of the reason why I plan to stop using this host. One guy of the support team even gave me a funny answer, he/she said the raw access log shouldnt be downloaded because of the large size. If what he/she said is true, then what is the point of the log files?
In late May 2003, two of the three owners left the company. The only one left is just a high school student! Do you think he/she is able to keep the business running at good quality?
