Know the IP of your computer

For Windows 95/98, run "WinIPCfg.exe". You will get the following screen. The text inside the red circle is your IP for a particuar adaptor. If you have more than one adaptor(such as two LAN cards and one modem), select the adaptor in the place indicated in the diagram.

For Windows NT/2000, run "IPConfig.exe" in DOS prompt. You will get the following screen. The text inside the white circle is your IP.
